Since husband and wife duo Ditte Reffstrup, the label’s Creative Director, and Nicolaj Reffstrup, its CEO, took over the label in 2009 (it was founded by a Copenhagen gallerist nine years earlier), Ganni has steadily grown from an insider’s secret to a global phenomenon.

In my pre-show interview with Creative Director Ditte Reffstrup, she told me that Ganni girls are independent, capable of anything, and comfortable in their own skin—so it's really no surprise that they'd be up for dancing outside during a downpour.

Creative Director, Ditte Reffstrup, planted a makeshift set up on the kitchen counter top, and so – perhaps the rest speaks for itself? The collection remains appropriate and still anchors on its proud, Scandi roots, noted in its notorious practical aesthetic which attributes to the cities cycling culture – skinny jeans and 50 denier tights are out of question.
